Our Chapter needs energized leaders for positions on the 2023 Executive Board!

As a board member, you will be a member of the leadership team that manages our Chapter's operational and strategic objectives. 

The PMI Tampa Bay Chapter is managed by a volunteer executive board consisting of the President, President-Elect, Past President, and eight Vice Presidents. Each Vice President is responsible for managing their program area to execute the Chapter's operational and strategic objectives.

The following positions are automatic transitions in 2023:

  • President: Leads the Strategic Direction of the Chapter. (Automatic transition from current President-Elect)
  • Past-President: Automatic transition from the current President.

The following Executive Board positions are up for election for a 1-year term starting in 2023. This position will transition to President in 2024.

  • President-Elect - Assists Board in matters of governance, conducts meetings in the absence of the President & is the Chapter's representative to PMI Region-14.

The following Executive Board positions are up for election for a 2-year running from January 2023 through December 2024.

  • VP of Admin Operations
  • VP of Communication
  • VP of Finance
  • VP of Marketing
  • VP of Member Services
  • VP of Professional Development
  • VP of Programs
  • VP of Technology

As a volunteer executive board member, you will help us shape the Chapter's future. You will contribute to our strategic and budget planning and take our Chapter to the next level of visibility and impact in our community and with our membership.

This opportunity will support your professional growth and help improve your leadership abilities. While learning new skills, you will be able to network with your fellow local project management community, promote the profession of project management, provide value-added benefits to our membership, and serve the community.

You must be a member of the PMI Tampa Bay Chapter in good standing to be considered for a Board position. 

All nominations must be submitted by August 10th to be considered.
