The Project Management Institute (PMI) was founded in 1969; this year we celebrate 50 years of PMI. In 

the sure to be humorous and insightful session we will explore the beginning of the Project Management 

Institute and the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.  As we look back, we can see the 

famous projects of the last 50 years. We can do well to learn from the 

projects that failed and the projects that succeeded. Finally, let’s take a glimpse into the future of project 

management. 

• Identify how PMI began
• Understand the circumstances that propelled the PMP certification
• Analyze project failures and project successes
• Understand the future for project management
• Celebrate!!!

PMI Member Price: $15  (You must login to get the member price and register by 11/18/19)
Non-Member Price: $20

Walk-In Price for Members & Non-Members: $20 (Special Meal Requests can only be guranteed if pre-registered by Monday, 11/18/19)
