Title: Mindful Project Leadership and Core Energy Leadership
Presenter: William W. Wagner or “Bill” or “Wagz”
Wagz is a long-time advocate of Project Management throughout his 30+ year career. As an employee and consultant to Fortune 100 companies, as well as within his startups and even through acquisition endeavors, Wagz has leveraged Project Management principles, methodologies, and best practices to successfully transform business processes and overall organizations.
During the past year, Wagz has pursued a new calling. Wagz now wants to help people reach their full potential and help teams work more effectively together by incorporating aspects of individual and team dynamics that are not as traditional. Wagz now reaches back into the Project Management field to ensure the evolution of Project Leadership in leveraging powers of the mind and spirit.
Presentation Synopsis: The connection between Mindfulness and Performance has been researched and reported on very heavily in sports and highly intense activities. In the business world today, short-term gains are driving executive leadership to look to result-oriented investments to produce the results to keep their jobs and produce their bonuses. Project Management has become some of the most important aspects of producing those results and Project Managers are thrown into the crosshairs of the eyes of all those who have a stake in keeping their jobs and generating their bonuses.
