After the fun, Gideon Okonrende will discuss how the PMO can embrace inclusion of diverse team members, utilize this diversity to achieve successful project delivery, and help the organization realize the benefits defined in project implementation. Gideon's presentation will cover the following concepts:

What inclusion means as an organizational strategic pillar and why the PMO is in the best position to lead by example.

How to educate PMO members and key stakeholders on the value of inclusion for all team members and organizations.

Learning Objective 3:

How PMOs can evaluate organizational change management impact to the project and insure organizational inclusion in project planning and execution.

About our Speaker: Gideon Okonrende is currently a Healthcare IT Executive with OhioHealth in Dublin, Ohio where he serves as the leader of Strategic Planning, Analysis, and Delivery within Information Technology.  In his role, Gideon is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the entire IT initiatives, leading the project management office, including project intake and is responsible for strategic planning and analysis across the Information Technology platform.

Gideon has over 20 years of information technology experience and has worked with a variety of industries including retail with Abercrombie and Fitch to implement payment security worldwide; health care with St. Elizabeth Healthcare (Edgewood, KY) to implement their HCM, Finance, and Supply Chain systems; insurance and financial services with Nationwide Insurance to implement their  Enterprise Data Governance systems; and application development with The Center for Health Affairs – CHAMPS Management Services to implement SharePoint and DocuWare, organization-wide.

Gideon is a graduate of the University of Phoenix with a B.S. in Information Systems.  He has been actively involved with various project management initiatives over the last 15+ years and is currently serving as a seasonal speaker with the Project Management Institute.  As a developer of people, Gideon also conducts private mentoring services as well as participating in public speaking engagements across the country to encourage young professionals to pursue a career in Information Technology.  When not hard at work, Gideon enjoys playing club soccer, coaching youth soccer & basketball, traveling with his family and learning about different cultures around the world.  Gideon resides in Hilliard, Ohio with his wife Yetunde of 18 years and their two daughters, Oreofeoluwa (age 15) and Temidara (age 13).
